Christmas reflection

It is described that Jesus is the son of man or literally son of god and God incarnate. He was sent as a baby so that as man he could grow up and be the ultimate sacrifice for all of mankind. This could be why he is called the Lamb, as lambs in the olden days where used for burnt sacrifices to God so one's sins could be forgiven. Jesus was THE sacrifice that would clean all of mandkind's sins. In the hymnal 'Angels we have heard on high' The entire song goes Angels we have heard on high
Sweetly singing o’er the plains,
And the mountains in reply
Echoing their joyous strains.

Shepherds, why this jubilee?

Each stanza talks about a part of the birth of Christ. He first talks ofthe angels that appear before the shepherds and praise of the birth of Christ. And then it goes on to mention Christ being Ina manger in Bethlehem and Mary and Joseph.
God chse this way of coming to earth as a baby because God loves his creations so mug that he would go as far as to sacrifice his son to teach us of his love and the gift of eternal life in heaven. Mary and Joseph were destined to bring up the boy Christ. The shepards and the wise men were to glorify the newborn king.
